Durga and the team are perfect hosts. We felt like members of a family or guests in their home. His effort to curate a positive experience for everyone is unmatched in my experience for similar size options globally, not just in India.
Thank you Durga and family!

One of the best hotels we have ever visited. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel truly welcome and comfortable. The family that run this hotel showed us genuine Indian Hospitality. Our room was beautifully decorated with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The food is excellent and we really felt that we had the opportunity to try authentic Indian food. We also loved that we were brought a cup of coffee every morning to drink at our own pace. A truly unique and memorable hotel.

After a long drive fromRanthambhore National Park, we turned right and to our surprise hidden away just off the main road was this gem of a boutique hotel, we were met by Durga and Usha, we soon learnt much about this spectacular 125 year old haveli
We had endless conversations, and felt like royalty,
We were offered tea and coffee then Durga said I am sure a Kingfisher Beer and a Gin and Tonic would be better, wow, we were not expecting this, I could write a book about this outstanding place so will get on with the rest,
Rooms are very special, large, warm, with an imperial decor, finished to a high standard, free wi fi free breakfast, and on site restaurant, we had the vegetarian thali, and chicken thali, absolutely tasty, and red hot food, dry cleaning is very reasonable, massage big choice, all arranged by Durga, picked up from hotel and brought back, hot water bottles in bed every night, tea and coffee can be arranged to be brought to room every morning, there is a puppet show every evening, wonderful courtyard to relax in and lots to do and see, plenty of newspapers and books to read, and games to play, there is on offer a cooking experience, airport shuffle for guests, also the rooms have insulated doors, menu suits everyone, you can change money here, Durga rings the Bank and they have it delivered, spoilt rotten here, and finally this family and I say this because the staff feel like family are always happy, very attentive,
We stayed here 3 nights, Will so miss every one and everything
We wish you all a very Happy Healthy Prosperous New Year

We loved our stay at Dear Mandawa. Durga and Usha Singh are warm and very welcoming and from the moment you enter in their 125-year-old- property, you are transported back to a royal era. It is astonishing. Together with the hosts we had a fantastic cookery experience-we were patiently shown by Usha how to cook each traditional dish. A very unique way to get hands-on with Indian food. It was really good that I was able to accommodate my food allergies on our special menu so I could also had a chance of enjoying such a feast! Highly recommended if your travels bring you to Jaipur.
Stunning, historic boutique hotel with warm, gracious hosts

Thank you to Dera Mandawa and to Mr. and Mrs. Singh for an incredible stay! The rooms are gorgeous, stylishly appointed with historic Islamic Indian details and fully modern washroom. We loved that the hotel was steps away from the hustle and bustle of Jaipur, near Chandpol Gate, but felt like a secluded magical oasis. The room had an insulated door to cancel out street noise too which was great. For us, this hotel is so special because of its gracious hosts and kind, attentive staff. We participated in a wonderful cooking class where we visited the local market for spices and produce, and then learned some delicious recipes with Mrs. Singh. We sat at a family table enjoying our dishes with other guests and talked with Mr. Singh about culture, food, and living healthy lives. My mom was not feeling well that night, and Mrs. Singh had some ginger tea sent to my mom's room which was so thoughtful. The next morning was Mom's 86th birthday, and Mr. Singh and staff greeted us with a birthday cake and song! My teen son was also treated with such genuine care and respect--Mr. Singh taught him how to wear a turban, and my son was so happy :). Dera Mandawa is truly a gem. We will always remember our visit to the beautiful Pink City of Jaipur with fondness because of Dera Mandawa.
