    I visited goa this week with my wife and booked de altrus resort for stay at goa.but the experience with the hotel was not as much good which i heard about.first of all they gave us taxi on sharing basis bt we booked on private basis for airport transfer..& rooms were not good at all.there is no window in room.swimming pool was too small.parking was not sufficient.food quality was good...main thing exhaust fan was not working in washroom..it was too nasty.......     In the heart of candolim and just a 7 minute walk to the beach this resort is not only quaint but perfect for families or friends. Breakfast & wifi though needs improvement but overall the rooms are satisfactory and room service is quite good. Staff are polite and friendly. Taxi's available just at the gate and is very reasonable.... More

    A reaxing stay in Goa.

    I had a three week stay in the De Alturas starting on the 12th Nov 2017. This was my second visit to Goa and the first visit to the De Alturas. The weather was magnificent for the whole three weeks so a great time to visit goa. My stay in the hotel was very enjoyable nice and clean with very pleasant staff. the room I stayed in was on the 5th floor with a good view towards the sea though there is a lift if you need it. The room was large with air conditioning plenty of wardrobe and cupboard space. A large flat screen television on which I could watch the English premier league. A safe was also available in the room. The hotel as a restaurant which I only used for breakfast but found the breakfasts enjoyable with plenty of choice cereals, fruit, cooked tomatoes, beans, they had sausages as well but they were small almost like a cocktail sausage, You could get eggs cooked however you liked them and toast was available to. Indian food was available to for breakfast which I also liked very much and as much tea coffee of fruit juice as you would like. The pool area was pleasant a nice sized pool though not that many sun beds though I think most people must use the beach as there always seemed sunbeds available though you might struggle if you wanted four together. It was just over a five minute walk to the beach which is a huge sandy beach stretching as far as you can see backed by shacks supplying free sun beds if you use their food and drink which are reasonably priced. Two minor quips with the hotel I was on the 5th floor and the Wi-Fi reception was not great in my room but seemed a little better in pool and bar area. Also the hotel as a fitness suite and I like to use the gym while on holiday but most of the equipment was out of order the only equipment usable was the dumbbells. All in all though a great holiday and I would hesitate to use the De Alturas again.... More

    Could not fault the staff at this hotel especially Kapil. We spent 2 weeks at this hotel and four days into our holiday my sister had her bag snatched from her shoulder whilst walking up a badly lit road approaching the hotel. The staff were very helpful but I do feel that more lighting should be installed on this road and should have more security.This incident obviously put a damper on our holidays as the police were very unhelpful. I would recommend this hotel but advise people to be alert to people on scooters up the approach road.... More

    The hotel is located centrally and its easy to reach all the popular places in GOA. The rooms are comfortable and the service is nice. The staff are helpful. The breakfast spread is nice too and they have live serving of many Indian dishes.... More

Resort De Alturas is a luxurious property located at one of the most beautiful beach Candolim. It has five categories of rooms from Superior till Family Suite. This well designed property gives an easy to the beach. One can enjoy the beautiful view dawn and dusk. It as well offers amenities with comforts of all grand facilities like swimming pool, spa, gymnasium, multi - cuisine restaurant (Flame N Grill), Bar and Banquet Hall. Note: Swimming pool will be closed for the annual maintenance from 26th September 2016 to 5th October 2016


Check in Check out

Hotel Check-in Time is 02 PM, Check-out Time is 12 PM.

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
