Not at all worth the money charged

One it is very far off from Munnar. Unless you have to come here specifically for any treatment (which also didnt seem to be their expertise), there is no point a tourist should come here. Their food was not good in taste and for that they charge Rs. 200 per person. We didnt stay there even for a complete day.
At night, the place looks haunted.

Unique and beautiful spot in this Creation

Cure Monastery is a hidden gem. I had the good fortune of spending 5 days there last March. Although I had read good reviews it exceeded my expectations. It is far from the madding crowd and does take time to get there (5 hours by car from Cochin) but is well worth the effort. The staff was wonderful. Sally and Deepthi gave wonderful ayurvedic treatments under the guidance of Dr. Marina Joseph who was kind, caring and generous with her time. Francine prepared food that was simple, nutritious and very delicious. Annie and Pushpi kept my room in good order. Albi gave good suggestions and good company on the very interesting and worthwhile outings in the area. Father Winny was the quiet peaceful presence behind the scenes. I have been to a number of ayurvedic places in Kerala but have found that here more than in any other place the kindness, care and personal attention stand out. This is a very unique and beautiful spot in this Creation and all who live there seem to know that and seem to enjoy sharing it with visitors like myself. I hope to return.
A hub of surprises

It is the second time I visited Cure Monastery with my friends from Europe. As we found there are a lots to explore around, we chose to stay for a week. We thought that was our best decision. Needless to say how good their services are. Clean and comfortable rooms, traditional home made food, fantastic Ayurveda therapies and Fr.Agustin is a wonderful host etc.. ...but ..but the places around you will explore....come on they are going stay green in your consciousness for ever and ever. Check the photos. It´s quite far to reach, but worth taking the pain. Looking forward to our trip this year.

calm and peaceful environment, excellent food, friendly and approachable caretaker, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at cure monastery.
If you are looking for a place away from the crowd and what to see pristine and unexplored part of Kerala..
Good part of cure monastery is that it has a private dam and an adjacent farm..
