    Quiet place, the design of the hotel is simple, clean and spacious room with wonderful view. All the hotel staffs are very good and friendly. Special appreciation to Mr. Manoj (F&B Manager) for organising our favourite food which really feels us like our home town ( sorry cant remember the chef name) He is also very supportive .The staff is really awesome! They were very helpfull with everything and very welcoming. It was a very comfortable stay..I would recommend anybody travelling to munnar... to come and feel like home away from home at Cuckmere Resort.... More

    We were in Munnar for two days as part of tour to Kerala and stayed in Cuckmere Resort. This hotel is excellent and staff are are so much helpful. I would like convey my sincere thanks to the staff for their exceptional service during our stay there. My child suddenly got sick and we had to visit a doctor in the night. The kind of support we got from the front office has been amazing. We would like to convey our special thanks and appreciation to Mr. Bineesh and the front office team for arranging a quick transport to a nearby hospital in that night. The driver Mr. Suresh stayed with us all through until we came back to the hotel. Highly appreciate all their support. Entire front office team has been so nice and friendly and they demonstrated very professional and caring attitude. Thanks to all of them. Special thanks to Mr. Manoj, Restaurant Manager for his highly personalized service and attention to the guests. He is very professional and caring.     Cuckmere is a relatively modern hotel, and we enjoyed our stay there. The staff were incredibly helpful - the lady on the front desk (sorry, can't remember everyones names) was lovely and very helpful. The restaurant staff were also excellent, especially the lovely twin ladies who were so friendly and helpful. The waiting staff coped admirably when a throroughly rude and obnoxious lady complained loudly (and made a spectacle of herself) in the middle of the dining room - they did not deserve her unpleasant attitude, especially on Christmas eve! The hotel is very remote, down a very very bumpy lane, and there is nowehere to get a glass of beer or wine within 5 miles, so bear this in mind. Not quite enough space in the restaurant to accomodate all guests when the hotel is full, and the food in the restaurant was good without being great. It was clean and very comfortable, and has some amazing views.... More

    Cuckmere is an amazing place with friendly, hard working professional staff, very nice spacious rooms with spectacular view, very clean, amazing facilities. Loved the swimming pool on the rooftop and the restaurant with breathtaking view, amazing food and service. We’ve spend a New Year there and it was great, I can only highly recommend :)... More

Overview

Cuckmere Resort offers accommodation in Munnar at 20 km from the Tea Museum. It has a restaurant on its premises. The resort is located at a distance of 101 km from the Aluva Railway Station. This 2-storey Munnar resort has 22 guest rooms. The rooms have a dedicated seating area. They also have en suite facilities.

Policies
  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
