    I have stayed at Cottage Yes Please several times and their sister Guesthouse Natraj Yes Please on the same street. I like the Guesthouse because they are nice rooms, with air con, just off Parhanganj and so close to the railway station (I estimate about a 20 minute walk; 70 rupee tuk tuk ride) Be careful when booking as there is another Yes Please Guesthouse not affiliated with them. In October I got sick with a leg infection in North India. I came to Delhi for Max Saket hospital. Unfortunately I had made reservations for the wrong Yes Please (see above paragraph), though they still had one room free. That night a staff member told me the next day they were full and I'd have to move out. My leg was swollen and I couldn't walk, I was weak and couldn't carry my backpack. I asked them to please find a way I could stay. They rearranged rooms and I was able to stay. The next day I went to Max Saket hospital and I was admitted for cellulitis and stayed there for five days. Even upon discharge I couldn't walk. The Cottage Yes Please staff were nice and quick to help. Two staff members took me under the arms and helped me to my room. Harish especially was very kind, checking on me, helping in any way he could--he even stayed in my room when the Max Saket Home Health Care nurse came to treat and bandaged my leg. Harish helped here and held my leg so the nurse could more easily bandage it. This is really above and beyond! Thank you to Harish and the Yes Please staff who were always helpful. Because I couldn't walk so well, especially at first, I ordered a lot from room service and it was good. I recommend the vegetable curry and rice. There's also a good restaurant across the street that has a delicious and cheap tandoori chicken. ... More

    This hotel offers one of the best price/quality deals you can get in Pahar Ganj and around. Its spotless and has a very friendly staff. Be aware however when you book a bus/taxi with them. They're not very helpful and overpriced when it comes to that.... More

    We stayed there 3 times in the last 5 years. . If you want a taste of real urban India then this is the place. First off, this is India . There will allways be a broken tile or a gungy bit of paint work or a loo that isn't quite right. . . like I said, this is India. No Wi-Fi? big deal . . There is enough going on in the street outside to entertain anyone. My wife and I felt safe here and our luggage was secure, That's the main things. The rooms were adequate and the whole place not too shabby at all. A great eatery right across the road and within walking distance to the main train station. The streets teem with life and activity, a great experience. I,ll go back next time I'm in Delhi. Forget the Wi-Fi. That's not why you go to India... More

    Happy place to stay after previous awful hotel

    I moved across to this hotel because the one I usually use in Main Bazaar Paharganj had gone downhill seriously and was just becoming a dirty depressing place to be (Guruvas). A good friend of mine uses Cottage Yes Please and she encouraged me to move here instead. Well! WHAT a difference! The hotel is on a quiet side street and has a very swish lobby and efficient manager (though it wouldn't hurt for him to smile occasionally!). There's a choice of rooms, with windows and without, and every room I've stayed in since has been spacious, immaculately clean and very comfortable. On this visit they've even replaced all the linen with new, funky dark cream sheets and towels which are really quite glam! There's a lift that uses a folding gate on the outside which means that if you have quite a bit of luggage as I do, you can shuttle your bags into or out of the lift without having to jam your foot in the lift door! The hotel restaurant with room service is EXCELLENT and WiFi good also. Most of all, this hotel feels light, airy and spacious after my previous hotel and I'm delighted that this is now my regular place to stay in Delhi because they even take care of my excess bags while I'm away on smaller trips, which is very much appreciated.     Christ I don’t know what some people want. But trust me there are doss houses that charge almost as much and you’re guaranteed to get some disease. Its a fooking tenner for Gods sake. Hotel Check-in Time is 12 PM, Check-out Time is 12 PM.

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out.   11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
