    The overall reviews are terribly bad but my experience has been overall good. Location: the best advantage is location. 5 mins walk to mall road (lift area). park your vehicle at cart road and then you need not to use lift again. Food: didn't have it there but they have a restaurant there. Service: Its average. heater was not working as there was only one slot, and hence either TV or heater could work, but they arranged 3 pin plug and made it possible. the effort was there, hence marks given for that. front desk person was cordial in dealing. parking: as situated on mall road, no parking available. pls park your vehicles on card road room and facilities: good for short stay of 1 or 2 days. heater was working which was provided on chargeable basis. towels and 1 soap was provided. but hotel should as check as geyser was not working properly and cold water started flowing after 5 mins. that was terrible. TV was working well. Had tea, it was good, service was fast. I was with friend hence dont have any reason to complain. They boast of Wifi but no network was there in rooms, but who needs wifi in today's era.... More

    The location of the hotel is very good on the Mall Road and is just 5 min walk to Ridge. The rooms are clean but small and with just very basic amenities. Due to the location of the hotel; the tariff is high. Nothing great about the staff and service levels.... More

Cosmos Hotel is is located at 2 km from the Shimla Old Railway Station and 1 km from the Ridge - The Mall. This 3-storey hotel has 23 guestrooms. Each room has an attached bathroom with hot/cold water supply. It also has a wardrobe, satellite TV, desk, and a separate sitting area. This Shimla hotel offers room service, doctor-on-call service, laundry and dry cleaning services, and elevator facilities. There is a multi-cuisine restaurant and coffee shop on the premises. Cosmos Hotel facilitates a front and travel desk. This hotel is accessible from the Shimla Old Bus Stand (1 km) and the Shimla Airport (21 km). Some tourist attractions in Shimla are the St Mary's Church at 1 km, the State Museum at 3 km, and the Town Hall at 1 km from the hotel.

Hotel Check-in Time is 02 PM, Check-out Time is 12 PM.

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
