    Worst hotel for a traveler

    Worst hotel I have ever stayed during last 40 years. I reached hotel at 7.30 AM on 16.01.18 for two days and manager deny to cooperate on any point. The hotel has neighter sitting arrangement nor wash room arrangement. One washroom type very small room was there which lock was not open from inner side. Manager and boys were not cooperated through out my tour of 2 days.It is situated within two side main road inwhich one side is a petrol pump. Due to these reasons sleeping quality is very poor. Sound of vehicles from two sides road and noise of petrol pump are were observed throughout night which was horrible.Due to cold my wife nose and throat choked. We asked owner for hot water pot for hot water gurgling/drinking purpose. He was soft spoken man and instructed to manager to provide hot water pot. But manager and other boys ignored his instruction and after many times reminded he was not provided hot water pot, however many hot water pot were there and I had seen a number of hot water kettles for supplying others rooms foreighner occupants. I don't understand their behaviour. They could not obeyed their owners instructions. After 1 day owner met and I told the issue. He simply asked them and told me that he would provide the same immediately but our stay was completed. Last day one auto riksha cheated us, for 3 km distance he charged Rs 600/-. Before starting tour he agreed for Rs 300. But after tour he charged Rs 600/-. I wanted help from manager but he refused strictly and told that why did we arrange vehicle without his concent. Language problem was also there but manager totally refused. In google map the hotel is seen near to Marina Beach but it is not true. Marina beach is 3 km far from the hotel. The hotel has no Restaurant . Even a cup of tea you must go 200 m distance from the hotel.Third day morning I have come to know that they were providing complementary morning tea (I think this facility is only for foreighners because I have seen tea supplying to foreigners). But they have not provided us in two days as we have booked two rooms for two days names of Manoj Misra ans Rakesh Kumar Tripathi. We could not understand the behaviour of those persons. They spoiled our tour. Therefore I don't recommends to others for this hotel.... More

    Booked this hotel through booking.com and what a let down , they sent emails demanding payment before arrival even though it was booked as pay on arrival , they didn’t answer any emails I sent about the rooms and this payment , when we arrive 2 hours early in the hope we could leave our bags ( nope) We had to wait outside from 9am until the 11 am check in time to be told we had been transferred to another hotel 1 hr away even though all our party Hadn’t arrived here yet ( some were traveling from another country and several hours away on another flight ) and we would have to pay the taxi ..... give these hotels a wide birth very rude staff as well ....     They will leave you stranded

    Arrived in Chennai around 12 midnight. I advised that I would arrive late through booking.com. Waited an hour for Uber who kept getting lost and cancelling. The driver could find the hotel which took another hour. He dropped me off in front of FabHotel signed with a locked gate. I call the number on the reservation and I get two gentlemen on the phone. The first didn't speak any English so he handed it to someone who spoke some English. I explained in outside and can't find the entrance to the hotel. And I told him that I have a reservation. He said sorry sir we gave away all rooms. And then hung up. I called again and told him my name and I had a reservation. I asked him to provide me with assistance to find the entrance. He hung up. I called again no answer. So I had to stand in a dark street with my belongs trying to find a place to stay. Avoid if possible. No matter the rate. When people treat you like this it's better to find another hotel. ... More

  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation.   11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
