its a three star property , located 1km before mall road of gurgaon , hotel is not a gr8 location according to mountains . We get a gud price at travelling portal so we stay there for 2 days . Go for valley view rooms only .. they have a location from your room.
other rooms have a a junkyard view.
They have a very trained staff . staff is very polite and sweet spoken and very trained .
I give them a 5 star for their service and 4.5 star for their food and 3 star for their location .
you can go for this hotel if you found a price between 3-4 k .
Ideally located Hotel for exploring Munnar.

The Clouds Valley hotel is located approximately fifteen minutes walk from the centre of Munnar. The check in process was quick and efficient and a warm welcome was given by the staff. The room was spacious and comfortable and the amenities provided were adequate. The view from our room was really good. We found the food in the restaurant to be a good balance between Western and Indian selections and the buffet
breakfast offers a really good choice. One thing that I didn't like about dining here was that you cannot enjoy a beer or glass of wine with your meal. To be fair to the Clouds Valley you can't get a beer or glass of wine in any other hotel in Munnar either. Local government policy in Munnar is to not allow hotels, or shops, to sell alcohol. Absolutely their business but in my view if you want tourism you must give tourist what they want. Anyway, I would definitely stay at this hotel again and would like to pay tribute to the front office manager Akhildev R for all his help in arranging and printing our bus tickets. I found that to book most forms of transport online in India a local phone number is required and this gentleman kindly used his own phone number to confirm our booking.

The staff are all lovely helpful people who try very hard but unfortunately the hotel falls short in a number of areas. Our arrival was dealt with quickly and efficiently and we were soon in our room and connected to the wifi. The room was a good size with a large comfortable bed and a seating area. Bottled water was supplied and there was a kettle with tea and coffee. The bathroom needs a refurb. There was no plug for the sink and there was a bit of mould on the ceiling and the seal/ grout was black in parts. There is plenty of hot water. No safe. I'd give the room a 6 out of 10.because of the bathroom. Our wifi kept going off although I would have expected that in this rural area and it is free. The staff in the restaurant are all very eager to please and give exceptional service. The quality of the food isn't up to western standards. The evening buffet was okay but many of the dishes were very spicy. Breakfast again was just okay. The vegetable soup we had at lunchtime was almost inedible. The staff were very concerned when things didn't get eaten but they are so nice it was difficult to be brutally honest. Having said that, on the last night for dinner we ordered our meals from the a la carte menu and it was excellent and beyond any criticism. It also worked out less expensive than the buffet. Stick to the menu.. Unless they iron out the problems it isn't a hotel I'd want to return to. The real plus point is the hotel staff.
Perfect place in Munnar if doing trekking tour
on Mar 7, 2018
Being our 1st trip to India and our 1st trek! - didn't want to venture too far from the Trek (with Munnar Trekking Adventure) starting point and Munnar town.
Our stay was exceptional, buffet breakfast to start off (starts at 7.30am so if trekking starts earlier, unfortunately miss out) otherwise - friendly and very accommodating staff, very spacious room and again, 10 min walk to "downtown" Munnar. Even tried out the Ayurvedic massage on the top floor with in-house Ayuervedic doctor on hand. Glad I did it ahead of the trek next morning. Very relaxing. Had a meal at the hotel restaurant; good food & reasonably priced.
Overall ambience of the hotel good, staff extremely helpful, room well-appointed overlooking the hills. 10-minute walk from the KSRTC bus station from where our trek with Munnar Trekking started so ideal location and perfectly centrally located. Would only consider staying here next time. Our sincere thanks to the staff for our recent stay :)

Visited Munnar through Kesari Tours, Mumbai and had an opportunity to stay with this property. Found to be a well managed and maintained one. The house keeping was good and the food choice was also remarkable. The only difficulty is approach, as the location is a bit steep high.
