    Located approx 250m from Chennai Central Station, this hotel is good for Travelers esp Businessmen and Executives for short stay. Although Tariff is not directly proportional to room service or facilities, but it value for money, as rooms are nicely done and its relatively new hotel and a/c works fine unlike other hotels. Staff needs to be taught lessons on customer service, as they are not so polite.... More

    City Home is conveniently located on the WallTax Road running adjacent to the east boundary of Chennai Central railway station, about 600m from the station exit. This end of the Wall Tax Road is not too well-maintained and cluttered with budget hotels, typical to major railheads in the country The hotel offers basic facilities ideal for business executive stays, especially for railway travellers. It has compact air-conditioned rooms with individual A/C units, flat-screen TV with a DTH feed with national & international channels, free WiFi and attached bath with hot & cold running water. Bed / bath linen were fresh and clean, rooms are typically cleaned once a day, in the afternoon. The front desk and staff were cordial, efficient and helpful. Check-in / check-out time is 24hours. Payments are accepted both in cash & cards. The hotel does not have a restaurant but can provide tea / coffee and toast / eggs. For regular South Indian (and some North Indian) meals and snacks, hotel Shiva Sagar is close by. I recently made a day trip to the city on some personal work and stayed here as I was taking the train out in the evening. I had reserved a room over the phone (no advance payment required) based on online ratings. Check-in / check-out & billing were smooth and quick. However, the hotel possibly has seen better days and the tariff appeared to be on the higher side.... More

    Excellent Hotel cum Home in Chennai

    Dear Sir, I with my family members went on tour to Southern India and stayed in City Home Hotel in Chennai in two spells i.e. from 01.01.2017 (evening) to 05.01.2017 (morning) and further from 08.01.2017 (evening) to 11.01.2017 (afternoon). It is true to mention that in all respect the hotel is appropriate for any traveller. Both the Managers of this Hotel are absolutely gentle and co-operative.     Over-rated and not worth the money

    Room tariff is high compared to nearby hotels. Staff is very rude and arrogant. Room service is slow and not well-maintained. Bathrooms are unhygienic, management is not giving attention. Before check-in, ask Reception to give fully cleaned room, else you will not pay the room tariff.... More

    newly built hotel on walltax road, very close by to central railway station offers comfortable stay, even rooms are neat and clean and housekeeping is good. Room prices are bit higher compared to peer hotels nearby. Not much great room view... More

This two floored hotel with an elevator facility boasts of 22 well furnished executive and deluxe rooms. The rooms include a flat-screen TV, Air conditioning with a space of sitting area. The private bathrooms with shower, also come with free toiletries, Guests are provided with modern amenities like airport transportation on chargeable basis, free parking space for vehicles, healthy breakfast services every morning and laundry/dry cleaning services.

  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation.   10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
