    The problem begun at check in process. There was only one person on the front desk and despite of staying at the same room, both of us had to fill in ALL the papers.     Very OLD very DIRTY and SMELLY hotel

    When we booked this hotel they told us they have new rooms, we booked a suite, what was a big room divided in two, a small seating area and a little bit bigger sleeping area. Upon arrival they gave us a very old small room, with a huge bathroom with a sink what you normally see in toilets, so small and a shower, for the rest nothing. In the minibar where 2 very small bottles with a soft drink and 2 cups of water 1 of them was full and the other one was opened and filled for a third, but the worse was the smell of the room and the noise from the street, even on the 13th floor it was like being on the first floor with the windows open so noisy, what a disaster. We went back down to complain and they told us because of a new manager everything did change but they gave us another room and this time a suite, but nothing new here, again smelly, old and dirty, but we where so tired from the long travel that we did stay there. We tried to open the windows to get the smell out, but all the windows where broken, there was 1 power socket in the whole room to charge you're mobile, also broken, the cover on the bed did have bloodstains, there where very long hairs on the floor, what did stay there until the last day ( they hardly cleaned ) the towels are so old and thin it looks like paper, you do get 1 big and 1 small towel if you are lucky 1 small piece of soap and 1 small bottle of bath-soap/shampoo that's it. the sink was broken, the curtains broken, the airco broken, the tv only a few channels, only 2 lights on the ceiling nothing beside you're bed, I can go on and on it was a disaster, There was 1 young guy at the door and a young girl working at breakfast they where really friendly, the rest of the staff do not talk, not even hello or goodmorning, they just ignore you. we did try already very much hotels in Curitiba but this is the worst hotel there.     Although we arrived very early, the staff were helpful, storing our cases for us. Our room was ready by midday. The location of this hotel was perfect, right in the middle of the town, next to the Tourist and airport bus stops. The Cathedral is 5 minutes walk, as was the fantastic Sunday market. We got a taxi to the station to take the Serra Verde express through the Atlantic Forest. Breakfast was great, the staff very efficient and although no one really spoke English we had a good stay. The room was rather gloomy and a bit draught, but perfectly functional. The hotel was full of business people and quite busy.... More

    I didn't like so much the poor furniture and the cold room in 12th floor. As I needed to wake up early to take a flight I warned two guys at the reception if I could have the breakfast a little earlier as normally it is served and I got yes! But it did not happen!... More

Overview

This leisure resort, located on the pristine beach of Vainguinim, has Portuguese-style interior designs. Overlooking the Arabian Sea are 205 aesthetically-designed rooms with private balconies. There are fine-dining options, such as Alfama - a Portuguese restaurant, Cafe Azul - an Italian trattoria, and Taverna - a lobby bar with a panoramic view of the Arabian Sea. Part of the property also has an art gallery that showcases works of local and national artists.

Policies
  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
