    For those who have seen a horror movie, staying in Crescat is similar experience. A beautiful view to start with, passage with carpet and sofa, good security lift to a high floor, what a view and then the room door closes. You are alone that is what you think...think again...remember Thriller Night creatures from the wooden panel come out...the noise of the ac duct ...if it is working or decides to work wakes you in the middle of the night Go on if you want to experience horror with cockroaches first hand this is the place ...     Worst place to stay in Colombo

    I had booked 2 apartments at Crescat Residencies for 2 weeks. I was put up at apartment 20-3C and my colleague was in 20-4D. Crescat Residencies is the worst place to stay in Colombo. Cleanliness is the big issue at this place. There were cockroaches in the kitchen, below the sink, inside the kitchen cabinets, bedroom, bathrooms and everywhere. Everyday we used to come across 2-3 cockroaches in the room. Even after complaining to management several times, they did not take any action. AC's in both the apartments were not maintained at all. There was continuous water leakage from AC or there was no cooling. The electric cooking hob was not working properly. Out of 4 hobs, 3 were not functional and the management did not bother to repair or replace it. Location and the view from apartment was the only best thing about Crescat. Never visiting this place again. No value for money. Irresponsible management. ... More

    this is not your average hotel apartments. this has several apartments which you can book thru several owners . so service levels depends on who you book with. electricity bills quite high. the security guard at the desk is extremely rude & arrogant. no one can do anything about it... More

    Pros: Good location, spacious clean rooms, comfortable beds and very friendly accommodative management staff. Cons: Below average washrooms, had to go through the basement with luggage, lobby has nothing to do with the rental property and grumpy security guards.... More

    Right Time at The Right Place

    Crescat Residency - this was my first visit to the place and I was in awe of this place. After a year of staying around in 5-stars and depleting my company's money, I found this place at the fagend of my trips to Colombo. Wish I had known about this place at the very beginning.... From the time I stepped in I felt like a home away from home and that too in the heart of the city. I could call my friends, colleagues, business associates have a small getogether or just sit and ogle at the vast expanse of ocean all evening. This should be on your list of must-stays in colombo !! Yes, you do not have B&B here, but that's okay as Crescat Boulevard is just a walk away, and you could dine at the food courts there, or walk into Cinnamon Grand and go for a bite at their patisserie. I loved everything about my stay there on the 12th floor. The only thing that crashed was the TV channels, they weren't working on day 1 and even though I put in a request to have it rectified, nothing was done even on my day 5 exit from the place. The staff need to be a little more concerned on such requests; afterall who wouldn't like to watch a bit of TV and unwind after a day's hard toil?? I'm visiting this place again in lest than 10 days. Hopefully the idiot box works this time. AND yes, now they've changed their name to Colombo Residency. So what are you waiting for??? Get out, go there and live there to feel it. I conclude with the saying "If you want to understand a place or a culture, you must live there." This is so true with this place!!... More

  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.

  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
