    Utterly disappointing

    We had booked accommodation for family of 5 for two weeks in Colombo at these apartments, however 10 days before our departure I received an email to say that our whole a accommodation had been canceled!!!!! Fortunately we were not charged, however there was no one in management to talk to, to get some explanation, only the guy at the front desk who was useless!!!! We ended up paying high price for an alternative apartment in Colombo which was great. This place is utterly disappointing and is an embarrassment to srilankan tourism, this should be a budget accommodation option, and booking websites should be aware of this, Do Not Stay Here!!!!...     Dirty and disappointing

    We booked a lovely apartment in Union Square through Agoda months previously only to be told on arrival it was double booked. We were sent to Crescat Residences instead. This 2 bdr apartment is spacious but the kitchen was filthy. There were no toiletries or anything to use to wipe benches or wash dishes. Power constantly shorted out. The location is great, and the pool you can use at the neighbouring hotel is nice. But I would definitely never come back here. ... More

    For anyone interested in staying here in the near future I would recommend you find somewhere else. Our apartment was infested with cockroaches, and when we complained we were told that all the apartments were like that. We spent the whole 4 weeks killing cockroaches and having to wash every plate and utensil before using them. No discounts were given for the inconvenience but we did get attitude when we asked for fresh towels at the end of the week. From all the years we've traveled to Sri Lanka this is the Most disappointing stay we've had. Not good enough for the money they charge!!... More

    I share the frustrations with other reviewers about this place. We opted to book this place months before our holiday, and four days prior to our departure the booking was canceled by crescat!!! They offered an alternative place which looked worse than crescat itself!! and charged the same price.This place is a disgrace to srilankan hospitality and tourism. When I asked to speak to the senior manager, no name was given to me. I was advised to inform booking.com, and that I was speaking to the manager. There is no accountability with this place which is embarrassing given that we visit Lanka often. Just be aware about this place, and the difficulty when dealing with some srilankan tourism people. This place is a waste of time, just pay extra and stay elsewhere... More

    Had 2 b/room, 2 bathroom. Generally clean. Broken cupboard in kitchen. Bench in kitchen attached to the wall with sticky tape. Had to plug kettle into powerboard at TV cos it didn't fit in the points in the kitchen. You have to pay extra for utilities in US dollars. Not happy about that. Quite a bit of road noise. Some mould in showers. Big bedrooms, big ensuite. Airconditioning good and Wifi. Close to shops. Would stay elsewhere next time.... More

  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
