Camp Noel - Close to Nature
on Oct 12, 2019
We visited the resort in early October 19. A terrific property in the lap of nature, a place to chill out totally and those who wish to - digital detox (only BSNL network with no data, no wifi in the property except resort lobby).
The property is around 35 kms from Munnar town with all places to sightsee in between Munnar and the Resort. The accomodation is very comfortable, friendly and helpful staff with an able F & B section
A COSY ISOLATED SERENE RESORT
on May 19, 2019
The resort is highly suitable for nature lovers who wants to stay away from the maddening crowd and to spend hours together to be in one with nature. It takes nearly four hours to reach the resort from Munnar town, but it's a worthable drive. Except reading, eating, adoring nature and enjoying the chillness, there's nothing more there - no shopping, non proximity to major tourist attractions except a few, feeble network coverage for mobiles and very few recreational facilities. BUT FOR NATURE LOVERS, ONE COULD FORGET ALL THE TENSIONS AND GET RELAXED TO A GREAT EXTENT AND GET REJUVENATED. Homely food is being served here.Mr ANU is always at our disposal. He's ready to offer any help. It's more cool than Munnar town. Driver accomodation is also provided and all three meals are provided free of cost for the driver. If we're lucky we could also spot the wild fauna. We'll go again to Camp Noel.
Beauty of Munnar

Really nice place to visit. The views of this place are awesome. Staffs are friendly and cooperative.
Food served are not good as expected. Road is not good but manageable. Don’t blindly believe in google maps there is a chance of misdirection. Recommend to reach there before night.
Our annual retreat to Munnar :)
on Jan 28, 2019
We are a lazy lot when it comes to planning trips and so almost invariably we end up visiting Munnar every year. We have visited this place so often that the routes and destination are as throrough as the back of our hands. This time our visit was to Camp Noel, which is about 55 kms from Munnar town. This was our second trip to this wonderful place. We took a double bedroom cottage that had 2 bedrooms, a living area and a kitchenette. The place was fantastic, service was very good and the staff very courteous. The kids had a lovely time playing in their lawn area.
The drive to the place requires travel through the forest area and we were lucky enough to spot a few stags, porcupines and rabbits :)
The weather was excellent and we all loved the overall trip. Looking forward to more visits to Camp Noel.
Nice serene place

A nice secluded place. good facilities, good people. Can procure fresh harvest of cool season vegetables from nearby farms. BSNL has range, but poor data connectivity. The travel to Vattavada from Munnar is through Pampadum Shola National Park which itself is a great experience.
