    GTDC calangute residency is having the best location in the beach. This time the restaurant was closed for lunch and dinner but breakfast was served which had buffet breakfast. Most food items were veg but they were excellent starting from fruits to south indian delicacies and pao vaji. Non veg people can take egg items.     Amazing Location .. On the Spot

    I had already visited Goa twice and my last visit was on 2017. I was always wanted to stay in this Hotel but was unable to get the rooms as during November it is always full. This hotel is bang on the Beach i.e. just come out of Hotel and you are on Beach. Although you have walk around but it is small distance. As it is Government property so you can expect the operation in is similar condition. Check-in was slow process. Although I had booked suite but due to some water leakage they shifted me to Deluxe room for one night (but I suspect otherwise as the occupant if the suite had overstayed one more day and the staff wanted to accommodate that). Next day they shifted us to suite Room No 103. It is in First floor and has a Balcony giving view of Beach. The view is fantastic and in night you can hear the waves. The room is quite spacious but decor is bit old fashioned and could be maintained properly. The tariff was included with Breakfast. Breakfast was not that variety but ok. Also the duty manager was really helpful as I had misplaced my return boarding card and ticket so he allowed me to use his office system to take printout of ticket and boarding card. Pros: 1. Right on Beach 2. All restaurant / Beer shop nearby. 3. For shopping all shops available nearby 4. Taxi and Autos available nearby 5. ATM also walk-able distance cons 1. As on Beach late night people walking and so some disturbance 2. Music from shacks till late night 3. There is one karaoke restaurant next to hotel which is 24 x 7 so late night music 4. Check-out process is manual so make sure if you want to catch flight have sufficient margin of time. Overall good hotel because of location. Although tariff is bit high but no copmplaints... More

    The best part of this hotel is its Location. It is located on the most popular and most crowded beach of Goa. The hotel rooms are spacious, neat and clean. The staff is also nice and cooperating, but room service needs some improvement. Considering its location, the rates are highly justified. This hotel made our experience of Goa memorable.... More

    Great place to stay, The view from the Balcony is breathtaking. You cannot miss the wide spread of breakfast and a courteous staff. This place is BANG on the beach so you can literally play in the beach and get to your room without carrying anything except the key.... The pool in the resort is good too. Room service is good. Negative is the wait time for the check-in, and some rooms weren't cleaned well before we checked in. Overall its a good place to stay & Experience GOA...!!!... More

    The location of this hotel is excellent. Right on Calangute Beach. Though they have done renovation, but still it can be better. But still as per Government standards things seem to be ok. Buffet breakfast is good but they charge Rs. 100 for extra person and kids above 5 years. Their restaurant was not operating for lunch and dinner. Bathroom was clean. We have previously stayed in Colva Residency but Calangute Residency is much better in comparison to Colva Residency. You can have nice view of the beach and sea from your balcony itself. Enough parking space available if you are driving. Overall decent stay but much can be done due to advantage of the location.... More

Overview

Experience paradise from the comfort of this budget hotel at Calangute Beach. There are 58 rooms with balconies for guests to choose from. Guests can dine-in at the Blue Bay Restaurant that serves authentic local cuisine. One can sit out in the large patio space and soak-in the awesome beauty of the Arabian Sea any time of the day or night. There is also a garden space to lounge at. Its proximity to the beaches and the flea market makes it an ideal place to stay during vacation. Note : Swimming pool of Calangute Residency is kept closed from 16/07/2015 onwards for the maintenance till further orders.

Policies
  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies
  1. The standard check-in time is 02 PM and the standard check-out time is 11 AM. Early check-in or late check-out is strictly subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel.Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
