We spent a couple of nights here as part of a trip around India. The staff were really friendly and super attentive. I'm pregnant and had had a long journey and they kindly accommodated my late request to book a massage.
The food is excellent, including both Indian and European dishes and for 20% more they'll deliver it to your room. The views, are incredible and there are various treks you can do into the tea plantations. The toiletries are handmade and organic and the shampoo in particular was so good I bought some!
The one thing I'd suggest is a welcome pack/guide in the room with details of timings for lunch/dinner etc. The lovely Robin told us everything but we promptly forgot. A special shout out to Robin generally for his constant smile - nothing was too much trouble (including picking us up bus tickets to get back to Cochin). Thanks for a lovely stay.

We were very warmly welcome to this fantastic place offering great views of the surrounding mountains and vast tea plantations.
The room is comfortable, very quiet, all items of equipment are made of natural materials. The climate is very mild and pleasant.
The restaurant provides delicious food.
The location is great, making it possible to visit nearby sites of interest (tea factory and spices garden). The overall atmosphere is very friendly and to put it in a nutshell, it exceeded our expectations.

The rooms in the group of two or three are located on different staircase like cliffs.Balconies opens to the stunning view of tea plantation. They welcome you with a welcome drink which i want to taste again as it was so good. The only drawback was that, we had to climb several meters up for the restaurant and for going up to the outside of the hotel. It was very tiresome. Food served in the restaurant was OK .Less spicy , suitable for tourists from western countries. Although the overall experience was refreshing.
Beautiful jungle lodge feel

Beautiful property , has a jungle lodge like feel, on the side of the hill, rooms over look the valley. Our room had a little bit of tree cover but some rooms have excellent views .
The restaurant had magnificent views
Rooms very very clean , simple but had a very cozy feel.
Bathrooms were really good , with
two sinks and a separate shower and tub.
The shampoo, soap and body lotion provided were all herbal and were really nice.
The hotel has its own nature trail .
The spa service was excellent. Had the best hot stone massage in along time ( by John)
The staff was very helpfull. We had an 18 month old child with us and they made us feel at home.
There are lots of stairs and slopes , so might not be suitable for someone having trouble getting around.
Cannot use a pram on the property ( we used a sling for the child )
Munnar is a beautiful place and our stay at the blackberry resort made it feel like heaven
A heartfel thanks to the staff at the restaurant and the reception.
Blackberry Hills - a very romantic location.

The room was located on the edge of a cliff and the views were spectacular. Tea plantations can be seen on mountainous slopes on the way going there and leaving.
Waterfalls are on the road going there and we stopped to see many views on the road to the resort. After arriving, we were treated with top notch service, eating great food in our room and looking at the views. The actual room (or I should say suite) was well-appointed and the shower was large and roomy. Since I was traveling with my adult son, I needed separate beds for each of us, and the layout of the room allowed for another bed to be placed in the living room area. So, it was a perfect set up for us. The same set up would work well for married couples traveling with children, as the bedroom can totally be closed off.
