    Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. The hotel location is very close to Chennai Central railway station. The rooms are good but aging. Need attention for interiors. Breakfast served was good and had good varieties. The one drawback of the hotel is that the railway tracks are very near at the back side of hotel. Noise of passing trains are disturbing. Staff is also not very comfortable with English language. A good hotel for business travelers.... More

    A mediocre stay, with background noises

    Though the Bell hotel in Chennai claims to be a 3 star hotel, however it's way lesser than what it claims to be The reception manager was impolite and not courteous to entertain any requests, I had a sprain on my leg and was unable to walk, had requested the staff to fetch some medicines from local store, initially they denied as it does not fall under the purview of their so called tasks/activities, however after few altercations they heeded to my request Staffs little laid back in terms of room services and some of them are not very proficient in English and prefer communicating in local languages I had checked out late as my flight got delayed, for the same I had to end up paying little extra more than the hotel tariff, as usual the reception manager did not spare or wasn't even considerate enough to waive off those extra hours of checkout time Food was pretty decent though and was reasonably priced (the only USP or highlight of this hotel ) Please visit this place at your own risk if and only if you do not have any other better alternative to stay in Chennai...     This hotel provided everything I needed for my stay. The room was clean. The AC worked. The internet speeds were good. The restaurant food was delicious. And their recommendations were helpful. Well worth the money. The staff were young and new, yet their supervisors made sure everything happened in a timely manner. Also, the location was just excellent; 1-3km from most everything to see in Chennai city center. Will stay here upon return. ... More

    I stayed here for 2 nights while on a business trip to Chennai. Had booked last minute and needed a budget hotel in the area around Chennai Central station so wasn't left with too many options. The hotel is very average. They gave me a room with a single bed and the bed was really tiny. The room itself wasn't well lit and looked shabby. There was a weird smell in the tap water - I have also read other reviewers complaining about this so seems to be a permanent problem. The breakfast was good and the location was convenient for me - those are really the two good things. Wouldn't recommend staying if there's another option.... More

  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
