    I have been a frequent user of this facility since way back 2006. But the place is now in very poor state and need a complete rehaul. I planned to stay for 2 nights but had to shift out after a night only. The air conditioning in rooms is not working, hot water facility is lacking, towels and soap has to be asked for and not found in room when checked in. The staff are trying their level best to support guests but unfortunately they cannot do anything if the management does not undertake any maintenance. Unfortunately the charges are similar to other hotels in the vicinity which have better services. Wifi password has to be asked for!!!... More

    I arrived at Arusha around 7pm wanted to stay at just average hotel near the city center,so Aquiline hotel become my choice the hotels was fine wit a restaurant with a little view of the bus stand.Cant wait to visit the place... More

    No booking, ignorant staff and dirty rooms

    I normally don't complain but this was just a horrible experience. We'd arrived in Arusha after a monster journey of delayed and rebooked flights. When arriving and checking in the reception staff did not have our booking reservation nor had they heard of the agent we'd booked through (STA). They refused to check us in initially and asked us to pay a deposit (which we refused to do as we had already pre-paid the room to the travel agent). We both work in the travel industry and we know how to handle these situations, and we had to tell the staff what to do. That they had to give us a room whilst sorting this out with the travel agent and the local agent, they didnt listen and just asked us to pay. In the meantime we emailed the agent in UK and asked them to call reception, which they did but without luck. Apparently the reception staff needed their manager to confirm our reservation. THEY WERE 3 OF THEM BEHIND THE COUNTER and none of them could help us. After arguing back and fourth we finally got a room, but shortly after settling in (in our dirty room with dirty sheets and dust in the corners) reception phoned us to tell us we needed to change rooms as we were booked into a double, and not a twin that they had asked us if we wanted. We absolutely refused to change rooms. Imagine the frustation after a 36 hours long journey and all you want to do is to shower and sleep, not changing rooms because the hotel receptionist has given you the wrong one. Somehow we got to stay in that room until the morning after. When checking out we were again asked to pay, and they wanted to take our reservation printout, in order to call the agent again. We let them take a photo copy and left and advised out travel agent that we werent going back there after our 3 day safari. And we didn't. This was our first experience of the hospitality in Arusha and it was horrible. Wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. I can live with the dirty rooms and all but the staff was just so un-helpful and ignorant, which is even worse.... More

    A good hotel

    I have been staying in this hotel since 2007 and often stay here during my visits to Arusha. Although time has effected this place due to the the owners negligence of not refurbishing the place regularly but still it is a good place to stay if you get a good room. Some rooms overlook mount Meru. Rooms are spacious and clean although few rooms have issues with water, lights and doors (due to negligence). The staff at reception, room attendents and waiters are quite friendly, cheerful and helpful.... More

    Terrible experience

    We arrived at 2am after a 20hr bus trip. On the phone we were quoted one price, this was then doubled when we checked in (knowing we had nowhere else to go). We were then woken up at 8am to be given a receipt that we didn't want, and told to go to breakfast (which finished at 10am). Breakfast was poor - waiting staff were watching TV, doing their make up, and taking the buffet food and eating it round the corner! As a result they failed to put out things we needed, and didn't light the burners to keep food warm, so it was all cold. We were quoted a third price for our second night - the manager then demanded we go to an ATM late at night to pay the higher price that he later decided. Room was actually OK, but this was the worst customer service I have seen in 4 months travelling in Africa - ironically in one of the most expensive places I have stayed! I would recommend the nice backpacker hostel down the road. Half the price and very professional.... More

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.

  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
