Excellent boutique property

Although located on the busy little road to Old Manali, Baikunth Magnolia ( as it was called earlier) is an oasis of peace and old world charm. A beautiful heritage property, it has been curated immaculately by the present owners (a very affable couple). The rooms provided you with a feel of royalty, courtesy the beautiful woodwork on the ceiling. Where I found the hotel to be a notch above other similar ones was the quality of toiletries- they were simply outstanding and far superior to some of the five star hotels I've stayed in. They are building another wing to the left of the property, which will house chalet style accomodation. However, I hope the owners retain the old bungalow and its pristine charm.
Old world charm, great place to unwind.

It was wonderful to discover that I had visited this hotel 50 years ago, when it was called Pinewood Hotel. Same old world charm feel. Very helpful staff. One of our family members felt sick, a Doctor was arranged immediately. All different food habits were taken care of, from no onion to chicken. Lovely bonfire in the evening in the garden. Best part was to have breakfast in the garden. Great place to go again.

The best part about Baikunth Magnolia is that a small turn leads to the most peaceful corner in Manali city. A small cute property with a beautiful view and trees is we need and clean and get up to high standards. The staff is extremely polite and sweet and warm. The general manager Mr Raj was very polite Cooperative and pleasing. A perfect location near old Manali round cafeterias and a great walk up and down.
Amazing place with peace around and surpisingly within city

5 families. Only ones to check into Baikunth in May. What else to ask if staff is offering excellent service round the clock. A great time indeed. Meals were cooked as we liked. Kids ate well. Took the Ground floor front facing room. green spread from the spacious porch. One would just want to sit there all day through. great green space for kids to play. A hammock in the center makes it a perfect combination. You are within the city but can choose not to see it nor hear it if you dont step out of baikunth. a walk down the path opens up great bars and market place. a walk up the path takes you to Old Manali. another tangent walk will take you to Hidimba Devi temple. A cosy recreation room where you can become kids again and play games while it rains outside. Looks like I haven't left baikunth yet. All the memories are still so fresh.

What Baikunth looses for being a tard outdated and needing maintainence,it more than makes up by its location in the traffic jammed roads of Manali and its staff who are ever willing to help.
The property is compact( just 12 rooms), the rooms are basic but clean and cosy and the location puts one in walking distance to the mall or old manali( where most of the eating places are).
The manager, Raj, desererves special attention to be very connected and helpful.
No stone is left unturned to make each guest feel personally important.we had bonfires in the evening and meals in the garden on request.
An extension is planned for next year.
