    Pathetic behaviour of staff

    Not a place I can recommend to anyone. Too far from city.Poor service and at the top of it poor attitude of reception staff.They dont even like to help you carry your luggage at the time of check out even though when you check in they will do so. Restraunt staffs are good.but for any buttler service you have to be lucky enough for the reception staff to pay heed to it.They may say yes but at the end you will realise that service is not delivered or not intended to be delivered.really bad attitude lethargic staff...     Sterling Atharva - Poor experience

    We, a group of 7 friends and their wives (total 14 people) between the age group of 65 to 70 yrs. are members of Sterling Holidays. We planned to spend our weekend at Sterling Atharva which is is only 28 kilometres from our homes. Prior to going there we had dropped an email to the manager of Atharva who neither acknowledged nor replied. A copy was also sent to Sterling head office who promptly replied to it. We also rang up Atharva to tell them a few of our needs because of our over-sixty age. We could talk to the manager but he was not very keen to listen because he had a meeting to attend and he promised to call us back later which he never did. Reaching Atharva is not easy because of poor signage. It was Google Maps who helped. The grounds are spacious and the building is impressive but maintenance is very poor. Checking-in procedure was slow and it took us one and a half hours to get the room allotment and keys inspite of prior email and telephone. Thanks to them that on our request they gave us Villas with a sit-out but there were no tables or chairs in the verandah. After repeated request we did get a few rusty chairs because they were made of iron sheets. The room was not properly done,remnants of previous occupant could still be seen here and there. The rooms were of good size, AC, television, toilet and taps were working properly but no pail or mug was available. The telephones were not working in most of the rooms, which was reported but not taken care of till the time of checkout. Food was reasonably good but the service was extremely poor because there were only two waiters in the dining hall to cope up with so many guests but still they dis a good job. An ice bucket was ordered and inspite of reminders, did not reach us till the time of checkout. The swimming pool is of reasonably good size but the water was very dirty, there was no attendant, lifeguard or fresh towels available at the swimming pool. No first-aid kit was available at the resort. No outdoor activity was seen at the resort such as music, bar-b-que etc. We are sorry to say that though the manager was quite young but very lethargic and did not want to shoulder or take care of any responsibilities. Maybe things would improve if proper trained staff is added. In the present scenario we would not recommend holidaying at this resort.... More

    We have stayed here for two days in room no 207. Good food and good service by Mr Biswajeet and Mr Karan.Clean room. Good swimming pool. Good room service. Good chicken biryani. Excellent staff. Overall a great experience.... More

Booking Policies
  1. The standard check-in time is 01 PM and the standard check-out time is 12 PM. Early check-in or late check-out is strictly subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel.Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
