Good camps with excellent hospatility
on Jul 16, 2019
I stayed at the camp on 13th July 2019.
Want to put a appreciation for Rohit and the cook at the camp. They both were really wonderful in the hospitality.
Rohit has been great in providing support to tourists and really hard working….!!
such service makes it more special when the sarchu has no mobile connectivity, no electricity.
Best Isolated Camp
on Oct 31, 2017
The Camp is situated in Sarchu. After starting our journey from Manali we headed toward Leh. After crossing Rohtang and many awesome places in between, we reached Sarchu around 8 PM. I could not see a thing as this camp is far from any urban installation no mobile network no other way of communication. Somehow we reached and the camp management offered Tea and hot water what we needed the most. The tents offered were clean and it has attached the toilet to it. It was freezing out there. But I tell you when you wake up this camp show you the beautiful nature and view which make you fall for it. I wanted to stay more but the onward journey had to complete. Please stay for a night don't expect luxury as this is what you are here for. Get good food warm bed and welcoming people. Cheers !!!
Location Amazing, Food a let down
on Oct 20, 2016
The only reason we stopped here was the location. It is one of the first camps you encounter if you are coming from Manali. Neatly stacked tents in the beautiful Sarchu Valley just took our breath away. Very comfortable beds in the cold night. If you are coming directly form Manali without stopping, then you may experience AMS. So be careful, hydrate yourself.
The Food was a let down. Didnt enjoy it too much.
Be aware that there is no communication in this area. no cell phones work. There is one satellite phone in the area, in another camp nearby where i think the 1min call is 80bucks.
You know it's something special when the same person owns and operates a business for over 30 years. Antrek all the way,

Hey guys, I hope, Naushad has access to this email, just wanted to say I am so happy Antrek is still around, I was a 7yr old kid back in 1987 and probably had one of my favourite holidays thanks to Antrek and Naushad he will for sure not remember us but we sure remember him, he had a blue gypsy with the Antrek logo on the side, will send you a picture, am sure I have one. Am travelling to leh and I suddenly thought I wonder if Antrek and Naushad still exist .sadly I had alredy made travel plans but if I knew, Antrek would have been my choice. Just wanted to congratulate Naushad on more than 30 great years. He also gave us a holiday I shall cherish forever.
P.S if he does read this the booking in1987 were done by my parents Dr Sidney Moraes and Dr Carole Moraes .

Memorable vacation by ANTREK
on Jun 2, 2016
We travelled to manali and solang valley in May 16 for 8 days and it was an excellently planned trip by Mr. Naushad. Though 8 days seemed too long, there was not a single day that went past without having lots of fun. All thanks to the team of Antrek specially Mr.Naushad.
From the starting of the vacation till the very end, each day we only got more than what we expected from him. All our bookings i.e. car, hotels, trek, rafting, camping were done by him and each one of the above had give us memorable moments, specially our car driver "TILAK" who added loads of fun to our trip.
His frank and straight forward suggestions towards our stays, trek were very useful and helped us in a great way. Even after slight deviation from final itinerary a few times we were not asked for any extra compensation nor any fuss. This is really important when you are on a vacation.
He is a very reliable person and definitely the best choice for planning a vacation in manali and leh given his long experience and thus the service provided by him.
