Good food with view
on Jan 20, 2020
We were longing to visit Antares. Didn't stay there but visited the restaurant, thanks to Sarah Todd's popularity.
Went for Sunday brunch and must say that the food was pretty impressive. Tried multiple dishes since we were a group of seven.
The view that the property has is undoubtedly one of the best in small Vagator area. The resort part was enticing - hoping to be back sometime to stay there.
Good Place near the Beach.. Rooms Small and Music at Night from Nearby Pub could be an issue

Loved the view and place as the beach is steps away. Food at restaurant ... Pasta, Goan Fish Curry, pizza and Gooey Chocolate Cake Good. Staff welcoming and a thank u to Surajit .
The blueberry cheese cake was a major disappointment as would give a 2/5 but the raspberry sorbet with it was too good.
Rooms small with no extra beds possible and if climbing upstairs an issue then avoid this place
I would definitely return for a vacation here.

Beautifully and strategically located, this restaurant is an experience worth having in your Goa visit. The menu is crafted by the award winning chef Sarah Todd of Australia and contains numerous delicious and unique dishes. The service is excellent, with a team of hospitable staff.
Clean. Delicious lunch and dinner restaurant. Nice staff.

This hotel has a lot of stairs. We got the ocean view room the closest to the sea but the stairs going up are a bit difficult.
The main hotel restaurant is amazing he service is really great and the staff are quite nice and helpful. It is on the higher end but still quite cheap for us. The local goan dish...chicken xcactuti which is probably spelled wrong is a must try. It's delicious!
The rooms are clean and felt much nicer than aria hotel just next door. A bit smaller good for 2 only not sure why they list 3pax...its too small.
The noise is a bit insane with all the crows and dogs on the beach there's way too much noise.
We ordered mushroom pizza wood oven and mushroom risotto. Pizza was great risotto was not that nice. Overall the bill came to 1379 rupees. We had it brought to the room and I didnt see any additional charges for that.
Overall a 3 because the noise of the crows was truly unbearable even during the day and the dogs at night from the beach....maybe the rooms closer to the reception at the top would be less noisy....
Theres plenty of nice restaurants and cafe at the main street. We walked to the anjuna market area which has plenty of nice cafes around seaside and it took about 35min 1 way but worth the walk if you want to explore. Cops were pulling expats driving scooters over...not sure why you may need a special lisence so just double check because the locals here wont advise or warn they just want to rent and make money.
DELICIOUS DINNER at Antares Restaurant
on Dec 4, 2019
We had a FANTASTIC dinner at Antares. The place is so inviting and has a great energy about it. The ambience was so chilled. We had a scrumptious apple and pear salad, pumpkin and green pea curry, and the wild mushroom pizza, and it was all TOP NOTCH! Very highly recommend a meal here- they definitely don’t disappoint,
