    Worst Resort ever visited

    Hello Mr Smith. This is Swapneel V Kanetkar from Kandivali west Mumbai. V had visited your resort yesterday evening at 7 pm for overnight stay and have left today early morning in sheer disappointment as we have not at all liked the resort it's surroundings and the over management done for overnight staying arrangements for people coming from far off places. V r quite unhappy as v had plan to stay there till today late evening and subsequently get a big corporate grp to your resort. Unfortunately the poor response extremely bad arrangements and total chaos does not hold good feelings for your resort. First if you can read my earlier messages I had confirmed and sent you what's up with all details clearly intimating you about time n date of our visit. I had also confirmed this by personally calling you on thursday afternoon and had told u since ur website does not offer facility of online payment m conforming this on what's up n by calling u personally which is the message u get on website once u go to payment option n fill all details. We were zapped and quite surprised to know there is not a single responsible person from mgmt over the counter to answer ur queries welcome u n explain the details to further do formalities. There was total confusion n local boys who had no clue of how to entertain guests. Secondky when I had cleary sent u details on what's up n I had also called u surprised me when u did not have that audacity to confirm back to me. More above that when even after waiting for 20 mins no one had any clue I showed messages sent to u to some person in the hotel n he asked me to call u back. Just look at the intensity of confused state of matters where there is zero accountability shown by u n ur staff. Later when I connected with u , u even failed to recollect my name n u questioned me why I have not done online booking. Mr Smith sorry to say this is not the way in which customer service is delivered. U ppl don't even know ur website is not accepting online booking. One more thing to highlight when I asked the guy on counter as to who is the manager or owner of this resort n in what capacity u r handling, he could not even answer my question n said he had no idea. That means he is perhaps not even aware that Mr Anthony is the proprietor of this resort. What kind of staff is operating this resort. Finally after we connected over call a so-called ac room was provided to us located on grd floor which was completely untidy seems had no cleaning done for month, bathroom light was not not working TV wasn't working, AC was not cooling and the room was also filled up with many insects n flies. The outside floor was smelling very dirty. So u can just imagine what ur staff is doing. So here again when we expressed our discomfortness v only got our room exchanged to first floor which was also more or less similar to this room. Only good part bathroom had light but the bathroom was very dirty n room was not at all. Impressive n comfortable for one night charge of 5000rs. This is alarming. I remember u had told me the cost for an overnight package for couple will be 4200 rs including dinner for first day n morning breakfast tea afternoon lunch n eve tea for other day. This cost is not justified for such kind of poor facilities provided. Ur room in the fashion is maintained should not cost more than 500rs. If I go to 3 star quality resort which we have also stayed earlier u have fantastic rooms n facilities in even lesser cost. Here the person on counter told me I have to pay 5000 rs. This is clearly cheating. Pl take my honest feedback as I left with my wife from ur resort in morning as total unhappy guest n at least to a certain extent the 2 ladies on counter today morning were decent enough to listen to our experience with resort n refunded us 2600 rs and agreed with whatever we said. I will be also sending this message to Mr Anthony n would certainly request the mgmt pl do not run resorts for sake of running showing false information on travel n tourist websites. If u cannot manage overnight stays for ppl pl shut it down n kindly do not fool ppl like this. I will also provide a poor rating for this resort on tavel websites n will put my review.     I never seen this type of worst and dirt resort. Bad experience with this resort and don't believe on price , food,pictures of the resorts. Waste of money and worst facility. Dirt pool water and dirty place.... More

    Anand Resort is a good resort with wonderful wholesome food, 4 pools & 5 slides, more slides & a pool to be added. Rooms are available at nominal rates. It is around 7.8kms form Virar staion & the autorikshaw driver charge Rs 120-150. The Arnala beach is just a stone throw away from here, so you can walk to the beach in 2 mins... More

    I recently visited this resort with my friends I thought we will enjoy alot but this place is very bad and boring. The managers and the working staff doesnt welcome the guest and the visitors properly with manners and the service of the resort is also not good and there are only few rides to enjoy there and the water of the pool is also not so much clean and the food of the resort is not good its too oily. The rooms we get to change and rest is untidy and the toilets of the rooms are not clean and the things are too costly there the rooms, food, shorts to swim and etc. Its too far from the city place we have to take bus or we should have our own car and to reach there we also have to complete the distance of 1km by walking to reach there. I will recommend people to visit a better resort tha arnala.... More

    Anand Resort Located Near Arnala beach In Virar Is A Famous Resort In Virar Not Too huge But Its A resort Where U Can Only Visit With Ur Friends And Not With Ur Family.. Routes To Get There : Just Take The Local To Virar and get down at virar as u come out of station there would be rickshaws or tum-tum guys who would come and ask u which resort u want to go and fare is around 150 only for drop not pick up... This resort has its good qualities and bad qualities the best thing i would suggest is just go out there with ur college friends or office colleges which u wont regret i guess coz its a cheap resort to take ur family too specially when there r good resort around to take ur family if college boys r planning to go for a booze or enjoyment in water park i would recommend before coming here ask the local or even ur rickshaw guy which resort would be good coz there r many other resort around then this one just coz this is popular u might hear abt this but trust me there r way to good resort around just take ur gang with u take a room for rent around 500 or bargain and just hop in... Anand Resort is located at a distance of 0.5 km away from the Arnala Beach and 1 km from the Arnala Bus Depot. This beach resort has an on-site swimming pool with an arrangement of water slides. This resort in in Mumbai accommodates 10 well kept and spacious rooms. Rooms are equipped with amenities such as air-conditioner (AC Room), makeup mirror, television, bottled drinking water, wardrobe, and en suite bathroom with hot/cold running water supply.

Hotel Check-in Time is 09 AM, Check-out Time is 09 AM.

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. Booking Policies

  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
