    I feel very secure and supported. The room was clean and very big. Not all staff speak English but always someone contact me to check if I need something. My stay in Kolkata was amazing and all thanks to the manager of Anamitra that he was always happy to help. from booking a car or Uber at any time, to advice me where to go to visit and also to make sure I was happy with the food they serve. Everything was delicious and fresh. I definitely recommend that place. And if I come back to Kolkata,I will definitely stay here ... More

    The staff at Anamitra is unable to attend to the needs of the customer The service is very very poor Even at morning 9 the breakfast and tea has to reminded to them several times to be served The dining table is very messy where the food is served They lack the minimum courtesy to the customer. We noticed they have been awarded best rating by Trip Advisor, which should be withdrawn immediately. Our rating is 1 (Terrible) to this GH.... More

    Forever grateful! I checked into Anamitra Guest house, Salt Lake, Kolkata on 1st of October for a business trip. By the looks of it, the hotel was a nice, cozy home stay kind of place, decently hygienic and ok with all the basic necessities. 2nd October onward, I started feeling feverish and weak. Every request of mine post that was met with immediate hustle right away. The staff were the ones who woke me up every morning for the next three days, bringing me breakfast and medicines. There was this lady who cleaned my room and on the last day gave me a mind blowing head massage without even asking for it. I had very high fever and she got me breakfast, set it up on the bed for me to comfortable while eating, she put balm all over my forehead and neck, massaged my arms and legs as my joints were aching. She then got me water and medicines and didn't leave until I drank enough water. All this while, she kept telling me that I will be alright, and in her Bengali accent she told me stuff I could only understand half of, advicing me to drink water and take rest and take medicines and drink juice. In a short while I started feeling much better, at least enough to get up and pack and leave for the airport. Absolutely amazing hospitality. Like home. I would give 10+ rating to the staff for being such fabulous human beings.... More

Providing comfortable accommodation in Kolkata, Anamitra Guest House is roughly 6 km away from the Girish Park Metro Station. The property offers free breakfast to its patrons. There are in total 10 well-appointed rooms that are equipped with essential requisites. Available amenities in the rooms are television set, makeup mirror and attached bathroom with hot/cold running water.


Check in Check out

Hotel Check-in Time is 12 PM, Check-out Time is 11 AM.

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.

  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
