We spent two evenings at The Ambady Estate and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. The menus for breakfast and dinner were varied and allowed us to sample a wide variety of Indian cuisine (as well as other International dishes). The cottages were spacious with amazing views across the valley. Would highly recommend The Ambady if you want a quiet, tranquil getaway!
Three blissful nights in Ambady

Hospitality at its best with a culinary experience that you will cherish for a long time. The cottages are fabulous. They are spacious with a private garden and well appointed interiors.
You will get a hint of what awaits you as you start climbing through the private estate road, which gives a different experience. Their estate is based on organic farming and drives a strong message that not every thing is profit driven.
Neat room, tall trees and great food

We visited this place during monsoon. The welcome drink with spices cleared the cold I had. Rarely you get a welcome that leaves a good impression ! Staffs are very friendly. If I have to mention only one point in review, I would say only about food. It’s perfect for my kids - not spicy and not bland, they didn’t repeat any varieties throughout 4 days of our stay. We wanted to stay in a quiet location with good food, we had it all !!!
If we have a play area for kids, that would be a good add-on.
Great Hospitality, Awesome ambience & fabulous food 👌

Had a short visit to Ambady estate. Great ambience, luscious food that too with lot of varieties. Ambady estate special dishes were all mouthwatering & tasty. Don’t miss the estate special veg soup & Chicken Nurukku. Staff hospitality is also commendable. Quite friendly a people.
Great place for a getaway from the city crowd, to relax , rejuvenate & enjoy the beauty of nature.

We went to Ambady Estate for a 3 night trip and stayed in the Plantation Villa along with the family. The location was a beautiful one right in the middle of a cardamom plantation. Very comfortable 3 bedroom villa too. The rooms were very clean too. The best part of our stay was the experience with the staff. Mahendran, the person at their restaurant was very cordial and even took for a small plantation tour and bird watching within the property. Our kids loved it. They arranged for a special camp fire when we requested for it. Our family enjoyed it the most together with dinner that was served besides the camp fire. The security staff Christopher was very warm and gave us a good company throughout the stay. He even helped us get a pure forest honey when requested together with few mangoes that he plucked within the farm! The highlight of the stay was the food. We requested for Kerela special food and the chef made it superbly with great taste. They make the food with organic vegetables that is grown within their farm. The taste was just fantastic with excellent quality too. However, the food cost are on the higher side.
Their manager Mr. Biju was very courteous and helped us with arranging taxis and auto for Munnar tour with reliable people. The security staff helped in cleaning my car on the day of our checkout.
There is really nothing that I could point as negative for this property. My experience was very good and am certain to back again sometime for the vacation
