Stayed here as part of a group tour (i.e. not by choice). The whole hotel could do with both a deep clean and a fresh coat of paint. The walls, both inside and outside, were covered in dirty marks. Rooms are basic - the mattresses are hard and uncomfortable, and the fridge had gunk in it. Overall it felt really unclean.
There are also a whole litany of hotel rules, including a ban on keeping outside drinks in the room fridge (weird and unreasonable). The wifi is also not free - admittedly it costs 100 rupees, which is not a huge amount, but every other hotel I stayed at in India offered it for free.
In summary, there are much nicer and still affordable hotels in Goa, including just up the road from this one - go to one of those instead. I've given it two stars rather than one as the breakfast was fairly decent (and cheap).

Alor resort is an average hotel. We booked 3 rooms for 4 days and 3 nights for total cost 16500+ worthless. Rooms were ok. Blankets giving bad odour. Hospitality was ok. Pool was good. Complimentary breakfast was good. Reasonable budget hotel.
Westerners, DO Not Stay here

We are part of a G Adventure tour and had no choice in our accommodation. As Westeners, it is full of noisy, obnotchous young men that are partying into the wee small hours. They have no regard for other guests! Management / Security do nothing about the control of the noise. We were given a choice of moving rooms, but the rooms we were shown were dark and had no sun light coming in and smelt. As westerners, We couldn't use the swimming pool, as they have dress rules which we couldn't comply to. Plus it was always full of Indians trying to swim! The laundry was expensive but came back beautifully clean and fresh, that is why I gave one star. There are lots of other nicer smaller boutique hotels near by, check them out.
OK for our needs

Average for India. Could have been cleaner but the shower was at least reasonably powerful for a budget hotel. Very near the beach, altough you have to walk down a kind of alley to get to it. There is a pool, although I didn't try it as no one else seemed to be either at the time. Was a quiet time of year so I'm not sure if the fact it was quite quiet was because of that.
