Very neat and friendly people. Near to the beach. They provided the food, too. Very peaceful stay and place. Budget stay. The accessibility from the main city is little difficult, without own vehicle.
Feels like home

We stayed here for a college reunion with family. Our priority was good hygienic food as there were small kids, nice place and proximity to beach and this place has more than we asked for. The owners are a beautiful amazing couple who gave us full access to their kitchen to cook for our toddlers. They have an amazing cook who made yummy food as and when we asked for. They arranged bikes for us. Rooms are big, clean and equipped with phone, TV, hot water. They don't have swimming pool but there is common area to sit and chat. Vagator beach is at 10 mins walk. There are lot of good restaurants nearby, one being right in front of guest house. Owners are very friendly and resourceful. Will recommend if you want a simple relaxed vacation
amazing place to stay with beautiful hosts

Ally Pally is one of my favorite places to stay in Goa. I love the hosts and how helpful they are. its a stones throw away from Mango Tree (a local watering hole). The two pets the hosts have are very playful and cute. It is very close to the Vagator beach. It is the best place for someone who is not looking to spend too much on stay and get the most value for money.

We four friend after a very long time decide to get together and what will be best place other than Goa, the decision also came instantaneously there was no plan 30 min back and suddenly we came up with idea of going to goa. Due to budget constraint we decided to take a guest house and it was one of the best decision, this place (Ally Pally) not only a good place but also near by Vagator beach (5 min walking). The owner is really a very good man but aallo(ptatatos) prantha was not that good. Any way we are not there for pranthas...if you are looking for budget accommodation then don't think twice if available book this place. People are nice and good, they made all the arrangement i.e. bike , airport transfer etc.
Holly Jolly place

We were here for 2 nights in Oct 2016 that were marked by outdoorsy weather for the most part with little hint of any post-monsoon hangover. Ally Pally is just the sort of name one wants to be hear when it comes to holidaying in Goa. It has a welcoming air of easy-worn amiability. When you find that the place actually lives upto such a name, the holiday is complete. The first thing anyone would notice are Tom & Jerry, the resident canines (their naming decidedly a snub to Spike & Tyke). For dog lovers, this is a major plus as the memory of them would remain etched for most. If you are neutral, they still register as friendly creatures and tail you constantly. If dogs are not for you, elsewhere might be a better option!
The folks who run the place are an accommodating and friendly couple who go a long way in making the stay a memorable one. We had particular trouble with cabbies on our trip requiring constant chopping and changing. Each time, our hosts either saved the day or at the very least, stood by us while we were left high and dry. Special mention of the food they prepare is needed. We were 6, would turn up at different times at the in-house dining area and changed orders often. All of this was met with gentle amusement and top it, I can barely remember an item that wasn't excellent.
The rooms are what you'd expect of a guest house - functional with decent (how that word looms large over travel in India!) bathrooms. Great place to be with friends or family depending especially at that price range. If you're in the Vagator area, it's a place worth checking out.
