    Hotel is fantastic. Location is quite at Central point that makes it easy to commute. Hotel staff is polite and trustworthy. Has Valet parking facility. Any time hot drinking water availability. Closer to Rose garden (it is in front side), botanical garden is walkable (2km). Humble request to anyone visiting ooty is that, do come and visit places on weekdays (especially complete the ooty-coonuur train trip.)... More

    Just an average hotel

    This is just an average /below average budget hotel, with modest facilities. There is nothing extraordinary. I stayed there in December last week. Staffs are decent and well behaved. Hotel location is also good. So I need to explain why I gave poor rating here. Though this is average hotel the ratings in all online portal for his hotel is very high which is very suspicious. Some are even claiming this is the best hotel in Ooty which is actually funny. I actually booked this hotel by looking at the rating. So please don't fell into that trap. Rating can be deceiving. I paid 8910 for two night stay ( though it is off season), while my friend paid just 1500 for a better hotel in the adjacent location( Ettines Rd). So you can imagine the difference. The bed sheet provided was dirty ( which when I pointed out was changed and that is a good thing I must say ), the room I got in the first night was stinking ( again we got a different room in the downstairs after we complained) . There is no room heater and you need to pay 350 extra for a portable heater. No bathroom amenities will be provided except a small soap. Not ever water will be provided unless you ask. Yes it is worth for less than 1000 per night ( from my experience in inquiring in adjacent hotels December,during season it might be different ) but definitely not more than that. My suggestion to Hotel management, the profit that you make by overcharging the guests will not be useful for you. make sure you advertise what you have, you charge what you worth.... More

Situated at a short walk from the famous Rose Garden, Al Woodlands Residency is one of the most chosen stay options in one of the most revered destination- Ooty. A total of nine rooms with wireless connectivity are offered with 24 hrs room service. Those travelling via airlines can avail of pickup and drop from the airport which is offered at an extra charge. Free parking for vehicles, internet connectivity for the travellers on the go, medical assistance, laundry service and healthy breakfast is provided every morning but at an additional cost. Shopaholics can splurge on buying some artifacts at the shop present on the site.


Check in Check out

Hotel Check-in Time is 12 PM, Check-out Time is 11 AM.

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
