Don't book this pace if you are looking for a pleasant stay as friwnds or otherwise. This place might be cheap economically but trust me mentally they are cheaper.... More

    Booked this hotel for a weekend trip to ooty.. Me along with my two friends of opposite gender.. I went to reception desk for check in and they said that they cannot allow unmarried people of both gender staying together.. And i asked If we were couple you could tell me this.. They said its in their hotel policy and they cannot allow us unless there is an acknowledgement from any one of the girls parents. Since i booked in yaatra they said i have to contact yaatra for further clarification and they cannot do anything regarding this.. There is no way to get another hotel since there is no refund available. So only after the acknowledgement they allowed us inside.. The staffs were not harsh. But if you plan to stay as a couple make sure you have to provide some acknowledgement orelse find another Hotel. Coming to the room, it was clean and neat.. Parking is available near the hotel. Hot water is available for 24 hours. Good complimentary Breakfast is served.. Make sure you read the hotel policy not for this hotel, but for any hotel i could say.... More

    The ambient was nice. Right infront of rose garden. The people were helpful and friendly staff. Facilities are good and cost is low. In season they increase the price. The view from the hotel was awesome. Early morning nothing can be seen due to fog. It was a wonderful stay over there.... More

Overview

Situated at a short walk from the famous Rose Garden, Al Woodlands Residency is one of the most chosen stay options in one of the most revered destination- Ooty. A total of nine rooms with wireless connectivity are offered with 24 hrs room service. Those travelling via airlines can avail of pickup and drop from the airport which is offered at an extra charge. Free parking for vehicles, internet connectivity for the travellers on the go, medical assistance, laundry service and healthy breakfast is provided every morning but at an additional cost. Shopaholics can splurge on buying some artifacts at the shop present on the site.

Policies
  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
