    Worst hotel!

    We were staying at Hotel Mayank Residency only for the night as we had an early morning flight to catch. But even within this short span of 5-6 hours, this hotel managed to astound us with its ineptitude and total apathy to its guests. First off, we got a room on the 4th floor. With no lift, we lugged our luggage up, only to get the weirdest smelling room ever. A complaint regarding this was met with the coldest of response from the staff: "No other rooms available; we can give you air freshener". The air freshener was of little help. It of course did nothing to sort out the soiled linen and towels or the not so thin film of dust covering every inch of the room. Suffice it to say, we escaped to the airport almost 2 hours ahead of schedule. At least they made sure that we would not miss our flight. To sum up, such hotels should not even exist, let alone be listed on reputed travel sites....... More

    Good staff but hotel is overpriced considering the poor amenities

    Booked 1 night here through hotels.com. The first shock came when my 71-year old mother arrived first. Inspite of me telling them repeatedly to allot a room and send her up so she could rest, they did not. They waited for me. That was still understandable. second shock came when I understood the rack rate at the hotel is 30% lower than the rate advertised on hotels.com. The staff was polite yet firm that they could not help us. The 2-stars are for the staff. The hotel itself is located in an alley off the main road. There is no elevator, and you have to climb a steep set of stairs to reach reception. From there, climb up to your room. Food is overpriced and too spicy/oily.. Better to just step out and order food from restaurants nearby which deliver to your room. The bathroom was dirty. Water supply was terrible. The 2 things good about this hotel - well-functioning AC and the polite staff.... More

    A decent budget room

    This was a decent-size room with fully working AC, clean bed sheets, decent bathroom, a TV (for those interested), free WiFi in the rooms. It was a deal under 750 rupees. We planned on staying only one night hence this place was absolutely sufficient (so I did not bother about not having a view or a bigger room...). Also the hotel is very close to the airport. There is a fruit market nearby too. Due to the traffic delays we arrived only after midnight. We called in advance and the staff was very nice and helpful. They booked us in late in the middle of the night with a nice welcoming attitude. I can recommend this place for a anyone looking into staying somewhere short on a budget.... More

    We stayed here for a night with my manager. The rooms were OK, and bathrooms were vulnerable. No cleanliness and Taps were broken and leakage problem. The room service is Ok. And the charges for foods were high and they don't have GST number then also they are charging for GST charges from Customer.... More

  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance

  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
