    The air conditioning does not work which is a must for Chennai at least. The rooms lack freshness, present a very shady look. The rooms are clean but the maintenance is not good. The upholstery is dirty. The breakfast is just OK. Too much staff results in too much confusion end up in customer dis satisfaction.... More

    Namita at front desk has no clue how hotels work. I had booked for single occupancy, as I had decided to join the party at last minute, but my wife was staying in the same hotel with her parents as it was the event venue. Check-in starts at 12 and I arrived at 1. First of all, the room was not ready for at least 15 minutes and then she kept hiding the fact saying, it's standard procedure. Funniest part, she said she wants to charge extra if my wife stays in my room, claiming that they have assigned single occupancy room to me and now they will have to give me double occupancy, which costs extra. I was like, okay, if you have to provide this kind of bad service, I am still fine. Wife would continue with parents on a kid bed. And, lo and behold. I walk into the room and it's a queen-size bed, clearly meant for double occupancy. People responsible for this woman, Do yourself a favor and lead this person far away from the service industry....     Checked in at the hotel at 10.30 PM after a hectic Air travel.The moment we entered the room,it was stinking like anything. THE WOODEN FLOORING WAS BROKEN IN MANY PLACES AND THERE WAS A CARPET INSIDE FULL OF DUST AND STAIN. We went to the toilet and found the flush was not working.We called up the reception and they sent a person after almost 45 minutes....And he says that this flush was not working for last two days.....At the top of this,a person came and dumped the extra bed on the floor over the already rotten carpet.we asked if there is no extra bed with a cot..He said we have only two extra beds and both are broken.He can only put the matress on the floor..... We just couldnt tolerate all these nonsense at 11.30 pm ,not able to breathe comfortably inside due to the bad smell,the AC was not working,not able to use the toilet................My God,i have never experienced such a bad stay in my lifetime....Just booked this hotel only for the brand name of Sarovar group of hotels.......Finally checked out of the hotel immediately and stayed at Radisson ,Egmore which was heavenly ,almost for the same price.......One of the worst hotel i have ever seen is ABU SAROVAR PORTICO at Chennai......I dont know about other hotels of this Franchise..........     Low quality tasteless food..,not at all delicious .. Room are very bad as thw A/c not working properly,water leakages nd rooms are with cockroches nd other house bugs... Staff and Crew is very good,obident,and good time of responses I dnot suggest this hotel for my family and friends... More

Booking Policies
  1. The standard check-in time is 12 PM and the standard check-out time is 12 PM. Early check-in or late check-out is strictly subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel.Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.

  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
