Though the rates are lower but even they are not worth. Prices are on much higher side compared to the facilities given. Dnt expect anything other than a closed market location. Rooms are all oldest of old (around 30-40 yrs old structure) and not even slightly renovated. Bathrooms and washrooms are deteriorated because of age of the property. A thali for meal is highly expensive compared to its lower quality and you wont get food within the timings mentioned in the hotel. Everything mentioned as cost or price everywhere is always excluding of GST and they do not mention it while enquiring ; For ex - When you asked about Thali, its Rs 250, but when making payment, it becomes 295, since GST of 18 percent gets added on it at the time of payment & checkout. You will get more yummy maharashtrian thalis outside at less than 200 Rs
The Most important - WHEN YOU MAKE A CARD PAYMENT, YOU WILL BE CHARGED 1% MORE JUST FOR MAKING CASHLESS PAYMENT AND ITS NOT MENTIONED ANYWHERE
My Overall rating is lowest and not happy with the experience. Though rates seems low cpmpared to Mahableshwar range, still hotel is not even upto that mark. Giving 2 stars just for its location near to market.
Not preferring to go nexttime onwards
Peace is all you would be blessed with.

An awesome place to book if you intend going with friends and family.
Peaceful and huge open spaces.
Good rooms with the basic facilities.
Respectable and cheerful staff.
Situated just at a walking distance from the market.
Ample parking space.
Playground and garden space for children.
Authentic and delicious vegetarian food served by the hotel owner.
Clean and well maintained.
Although you have the liberty to order for non-veg food in the rooms and also have a barbeque if you wish too.
Just carry Your Own barbeque set along with you.
All in all a place you would never wish to miss if you're around Mahableshwar.
Reasonable and Decent Place to Stay
on Feb 15, 2016
We stayed here for 2 days.. first visit of 2016 to mahabaleshwar..
It is not for people looking for a 3-5 star place... yet it is pretty decent one and reasonable too.
The food is good as well, the place is very near to the markets and yet very calm and quiet.
Only desperate people stay here

I came to this hotel because its location was strategic, near the market and bus stand, and still it was isolated and quiet.
But big mistake on my part!!! The hotel architecture seems to date back to 1950s era, and that would have been still fine if their in-room accessories and general service was good. Seems like along with the architecture, even the beddings, furniture, and toilet-baths are from the 1950s era. The bedsheets and towels were clean but very old and were full of rust stains.
I can still put up with old furniture, but the most terrible part of was the toilets and bathrooms. The hot water was non-existent (they had to supply it through buckets), toilet flushes were malfunctioning, wash basins were cracked, water taps were creaking and leaking, and all these were full of rust stains too. Taking a dump in their toilet or bathing in the bathroom was like a "punishment".
I guess only people who do not get reservations at any other place stay here.
And I doubt that the previous reviews rating this place as "excellent" are forged (written by the owner himself or his relatives)!
