    it was our first night at kolkata and thanked Lonely Planet for 100 times. We reached to the hotel at 11 pm. we booked the hotel a week back and it was a confirm booking, we didn't check any other hotel in that area so straight went to the hotel. At 11 pm they said they don't have any booking and only one ac room is available. the guy was 'wanna be' type and was speaking hindi (no english) as we were from Bangladesh. i went to check ac and non ac rooms and found those extremely dirty, moist, smelly and too high price. when i came and tried to bargain he said, "its gone brother, you are late".     ruined our first night at kolkata

    we took a reservation through a known person who stayed there 1week back. but when we arrived at the hotel they denied any reservation and claim much higher tariff than we heard before. it was more than 10pm and we were too tired to bargain. the person at reception was talking in Hindi in a bad manner.we wanted 2 a/c room for 4 people. they have one a/c room left. that Hindi speaking man was forcing us to take 1 a/c and 1 non a/c room and then stay all of us at 1 a/c room ! we left that hotel at middle of the night to find a decent room for shelter. luckily we had lonely planet on our hand so that it was not that hard. but it left a bad scar in our memory....     Good value and good location

    Hotel Aafreen tower offers a great value and location for the budget travellers. The hotel is near Park street and not so far from the Victoria Memorial. The room was OK, but very spacious. The room was not as clean as we would have wanted, but that was not an issue for us considering the room rate we paid. However, one of the reception staff was so rude we had several heated discussions with him. His female colleague apologised repeatedly, but it didn't ruin our stay here. If you're going budget and are in need of a good location, this is the place.... More

Aafreen Tower is a business class hotel situated in Kolkata. Hotel is well accommodated with basic features such as guests can ordered the meal through room service facility which is available for limited number of hours. Front desk is there to assist guests but for particular time period. It also provide medical service, security and power back up facility. Aafreen Tower has a 25 rooms for guest comfort. The rooms are attached with wardrobe to keep their valuable things. Guests can also avail the wake up call facility.


Check in Check out

Hotel Check-in Time is 12 PM, Check-out Time is 12 PM.

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
