    It was my second time at 66/2B and I will go back again. It is a perfect guest house if you are on vacation. The room is spacious, clean, the staff are super helpful. The WiFi in the room works well. There is a popular Cafe below the guesthouse, a perfect place to have a nice cup of coffee or cup of darjeeling tea. It is a simple, homely safe place.... More

    Dirty, overpriced, noisy Hostel, don’t be fooled by ‘Free Breakfast’

    We alerted the hostel that we would be arriving late, around 1am, due to a connecting flight. Upon arrival the place appeared closed, so much for a 24 hour front desk. In order to get in I jumped over a picket fence, where I was greeted by a security guard sleeping on the patio floor, who could not speak a word of English, in order to get our bags through he went and grabbed a machete to rip open some rope fixing the picket fence gate together! Which was unsettling! When inside the staff were sleeping on the floor, they could barely speak English and got us to sign documents to then show us to our room, the room was dirty and dated with light fixtures hanging of the wall. In the morning we complained to the manager who could speak a bit more English, informing him that this was not the room advertised on the Expedia page. With a bit of negotiation we were bumped up to a better room. This new room although more spacious, was dated and grimy, there was a distinct musty smell. Also the room was near the street and very noisy, it was necessary to sleep with ear plugs due to the neighbouring noise. The Expedia page advertised the hostel as having breakfast included, which is not the case, we pointed this out to reception and they denied it. It even says on the back of the hostel rooms doors that the hostel does provide a complimentary breakfast in room, but it was unclear how to get this or what was on offer, so we didn’t get any during our stay. On one day we opted to eat in the Wise Owl cafe downstairs to try it out as it was always busy and bustling. The food portion was small, expensive, and service was painfully slow, I wouldn’t recommend this either. During our stay, we were informed by the hostel manager that they had overbooked and wondered if we would be kind enough to move to another hotel; given we only had one more night there we didn’t bother, but it seemed inconsiderate and we didn’t appreciate being asked, maybe they need to review their booking system. I would recommend this hostel to backpackers, but not for anyone else.... More

66/2B The Guest House, a three-floored property accommodates its guests 16 deluxe and semi deluxe rooms. A multi-cuisine restaurant serves scrumptious meals and a café shop provides hot and steaming coffee. Other modern facilities like breakfast services, Wi-Fi connectivity and complimentary newspapers are also available.


Check in Check out

Hotel Check-in Time is 12 PM, Check-out Time is 12 PM.

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
