Itinerary

DAY 1 - KATHMANDU

  • On arrival, our representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel.
  • After short relaxation at the hotel, you will be taken for sightseeing to Pashupatinath – a place where holy sadhus pray and cremations on the Bagmati River are carried out.
  • While you are not allowed into the temple if you are not a Hindu, the grounds surrounding the temple usually have a fascinating crowd of the faithful.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel.
  • Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal and the Kathmandu Valley is the political and cultural heart of the Kingdom. The urban sprawl that makes up modern Kathmandu is in fact two cities, Patan and Kathmandu. The city is a warden of its ancestral value “Atithi Devo Bhava” meaning "Guest is equivalent to God".

DAY 2 - KATHMANDU – CHITWAN

  • After breakfast, check-out and drive to Chitwan. Chitwan is 175 Km & is a 05-hour drive from Kathmandu. Chitwan is one of Asia's premier wildlife reserves. Its 360 square miles of tall grasslands and forests are home to a wide variety of mammals and birds, including several endangered species.
  • On reaching, check-in at the hotel. Evening is free at leisure.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel.

DAY 3 - CHITWAN

  • Post breakfast, proceed for jungle observation at Chitwan National park.
  • The highlight being the Elephant Safari in the jungles.
  • Other activities that can be arranged on additional cost are canoeing, dugout canoe, nature walk and birdwatching. Also, one can experience walking through the forests with naturalists and watching the native folk dances of the Terais.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 4 - CHITWAN – POKHARA (165 Kms)

  • Post breakfast, check-out and drive to Pokhara.
  • On reaching, check-in to your hotel.
  • Evening is free at leisure.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel.
Note: Pokhara is a 05-hour drive from Chitwan. From Pokhara town (2,352 feet) in good weather, you can enjoy splendid views from the hotel. It is considered as the tourism capital of Nepal. The city promotes two major hilltops as viewpoints, World Peace Pagoda and Sarangkot.

DAY 5 - POKHARA

  • Post breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing trip to Pokhara.
  • You will visit Bindebasini Temple - one of the oldest temple in Pokhara, which was a part of the Kaski Kingdom and the main deity of the temple - Goddess Durga. Apart from the peace and tranquillity that can be felt in this region, the premises of the temple offer a good view of the Himalaya on a clear day. The temple is in the area of the bazaar; hence a journey of the old bazaar can be combined with a visit to the temple.
  • Later, continue sightseeing to Devi’s Fall, also known as Patale Chango - an awesome waterfall lying 2 km southwest of Pokhara. During summer and rainy season, the waterfall takes its real form, with gushing water splashing and making its way through the rocks. Just opposite to Devi’s fall, on the other side of the road, there is Gupteshwor Cave. This cave is popular for the different natural forms made from limestone deposits. Photography is strictly prohibited inside the cave.
  • By late evening, return to the hotel for dinner and your overnight stay.

DAY 6 - POKHARA - KATHAMANDU

  • After breakfast, check-out and retracing the same path, drive back to Kathmandu and transfer back to your hotel.
  • Rest of the day is free at leisure.
  • One can indulge in shopping or visit the casinos trying their lady luck.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel.

DAY 7 - KATHAMANDU - AIRPORT

  • Post breakfast, check-out of from the hotel.
  • This morning, your tour will take you to visit Patan. Within the city lies the Tibetan refugee centre, home to most of the valley's Tibetan population. For those looking to bring home a fine Tibetan carpet, this is the place to shop.
  • You will then go to Swayambhunath – an ancient religious architecture atop a hill in the Kathmandu Valley.
  • Later, you will be transferred to the airport in time to board your flight for your onward journey.
