About Mangalore

There are various ancient temples that lie within the city boundaries of Mangalore. The Mangaladevi Temple, and the Kadri Majunath temple have always been prominent places of worship for Hindus. The Kadri Manjunath temple is especially renowned because it has numerous intricately sculpted bronze statuettes within the temple complex. Mangalore also has its very own backwaters, on the nearby rivers of Netravati, and Gurpura. This has led to Mangalore being considered a romantic destination as well.

About Agartala

Agartala was once under the rule of the Manikya Dynasty; who were the rulers of the princely state of Tripura. The Ujjayanta Palace was their place of residence. Post- independence it was converted to the legislative assembly by the government. Currently it is being kept as a museum. It holds artefacts and apparels that show the north-eastern way of life. Some of the other points of interest in Agartala are the Tripurasundari temple, the NeerMahal, and the Unakoti caves.
