About Turkmenistan Airlines

Turkmenistan Airlines is the national carrier of Turkmenistan. It offers non-stop connections from Europe to Turkmenistan, along with convenient connections from Birmingham, London, Frankfurt and Paris via Asghabat to Bangkok, Beijing and Amritsar. The airline is headquartered at Ashgabat. It operates domestic and international passenger and cargo services mainly from its hub at Ashgabat International Airport.

In 1992, Turkmenistan Airlines became the first airline in the former Soviet Union to purchase a Boeing 737-300 while April 1993, resulted in Turkmenistan becoming a full member of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

Turkmenistan Airlines transports about 3000 passengers daily and near 2M passengers are transported annually on the international and domestic routes together.

Airline Destinations

As of April 2015, Turkmenistan Airlines operates flights to 23 domestic and international destinations from its hub at Ashgabat International Airport. Additional domestic operations are carried out from Turkmenabat Airport and Turkmenbashi Airport.

Other destinations of Turkmenistan Airlines include Bishkek, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Minsk, Istanbul, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Kiev as well as domestic flights between the capital and regional centres in Turkmenistan.
