Oman Air was established in 1993 and is the national carrier that hails from Sultanate of Oman. Its main hub is in Muscat, at the Muscat International Airport. It is one of the few airlines that has a charter and a regional air taxi service in addition to flying domestically and internationally. The airline is also a member of the Arab Air Carriers Organization.

Frequent Flyer Program with Oman Air
The frequent flyer program of Oman Air is called Sindbad. Sindbad was launched in 2007 and is a three tier frequent flyer program. The three tiers are Sindbad Blue, Sindbad Silver, and Sindbad Gold. To enter the Sindbad Silver Tier you need 25,000 tier miles or must have flown 20 segments on Oman Air. To stay in the tier you need to, within a single calendar year and accumulated 20,000 tier miles. The third stage is the Sindbad Gold Tier, which needs 50,000 tier miles or 40 tier segments. To stay in the Gold Tier you, again within one calendar year will need to amass 30,000 Tier miles or 30 Tier segments. You can collect these miles through other Sindbad partners as well.
