About KLM Airlines

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, is the national airlines / flag carrier of Netherlands. It is fondly known goes by the abbreviation of KLM. It is headquartered in Amstelveen. Its major commercial hub is the Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. KLM Airlines is also a part of the KLM group- Air France. It happens to be a member of the SkyTeam alliance.

KLM Airlines Network and Fleet

KLM Airlines has a code sharing agreement with over 45 airlines. A few of those 45 airlines are; Adria Airways, Aer Lingus, Aeroflot, Czech Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Etihad Airways, Ukraine International Airlines, Vietnam Airlines, WestJet and XiamenAir.

Their current fleet comprises of 114 passegner planes and three cargo planes. Their passenger planes include eight Airbus A330-200s, five Airbus A330-300s, 18 Boeing 737-700s, 27 Boeing 737-800s, five Boeing 737-900s, four Boeing 747-400s, 11 Boeing 747-400Ms, 15 Boeing 777-200ERs, 13 Boeing 777-300ERs and 8 Boeing 787-9s.

They are looking to expand their fleet and hence have ordered seven Airbus A350-900s, one Boeing 777-300ERs, seven Boeing 787-9s and six Boeing 787-10s. This could alo see them extend their route map.
