AirAsia X is a Malaysian long-haul low-budget airline. It is a sister concern of the AirAsia Airline. Operations of AirAsia X commenced in November, 2007. The commercial hub for Air Asia X is the Kuala Lumpur International Airport. The company functions under the parent group, AirAsia. It is headquartered at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, Sepang, Selangor and Malaysia.

AirAsia X flies a total of 21 flights on a daily basis.
AirAsia X flies to over 35 destinations, a mix of both domestic and international destinations. Some of the international destinations include New Zealand, Australia, China, France, India, Indonesia and Iran.
AirAsia X Fleet and Network
Currently, AirAsia X has 30 planes in-service. All these planes are Airbus A330-300s. They are looking to expand their services in the near future by adding destinations and also adding planes. They have ordered 66 Airbus A330-900neos and 10 Airbus A350-900. These planes will be added to their fleet starting 2018.
