About Air China
Air China is is the national flag carrier of China. It also happens to be the largest Chinese airline. It was founded in the year 1988. One of the major standout points for the airline is that it is the only airline that is allowed to carry the national flag symbol painted on the plane. It is headquartered in the city of Beijing with seven branches located across the country.
The major hubs for the airlines are Beijing-Capital and Chengdu while the secondary one is Shanghai-Pudong. Air China provides both forms of air services, which is passenger flights and cargo flights from these airport hubs.
The frequent-flyer program of Air China is called PhoenixMiles and the airline is a part of the Star Alliance.

Air China has code sharing agreements with over 25 international airlines. Some of the airlines are LATAM Brasil, LATAM Chile, LOT Polish Airlines, South African Airways, and Swiss International Air Lines etc.
Air China Fleet and Network
The current Air China in-service fleet has a total of 373 aircraft. These 373 comprise of 33 Airbus A319-100s, 43 Airbus A320-200s, 58 Airbus A321-200s, 30 Airbus A330-200s, 25 Airbus A330-300s, 21 Boeing 737-700s, 118 Boeing 737-800s, three Boeing 747-400s, seven Boeing 747-8Is, four Boeing 777-200s, 23 Boeing 777-300ER and eight Boeing 787-9.
Air China also has a cargo fleet which has 18 aircraft. These 18 planes comrpise three Boeing 747-400BCFs, three Boeing 747-400Fs, four Boeing 757-200Fs and eight Boeing 777Fs.
The airlines is looking to expand both cargo and passenger services and hence have placed an order for a total of 177 more aircraft.
